Welcome to the Vermillion Housing Authority (VHA) Section 8 Housing Voucher Choice website.

The mission of the Vermillion Housing Authority is to improve lives by providing quality, affordable housing options.

The Voucher subsidy enables you to live in a privately owned dwelling unit with neighbors who may own their home or rent like you. As a member of the community you will be expected to abide by whatever laws, regulations and rules that are in place. VHA has zero tolerance for participants who cannot live by the terms of their lease or cause complaints from their neighbors. Your conduct, the conduct of every household member and your guests will determine if you can remain in the Section 8 program and continue to receive rental assistance.

VHA staff strives to make your participation in the rental assistance program successful. Participating in the Voucher program is not a right楊eeping it is your responsibility. VHA takes its responsibility of administering this program in accordance with HUD regulations and administrative policies established by VHA Board of Commissioners seriously.
